Lucas is a calm, even-tempered dog with a strong athletic body and wonderful aptitude for sledding and hard work.  He has a quiet intelligence and a calming energy that has allowed him to play the role of benevolent leader here in our pack.

He enjoyed a rewarding show career as a young dog winning Best Puppy in Show and Best Puppy in National Specialty Show at the Canadian National Specialty in 2008.

He is our senior member of the household here at Spiritrun now, retired well into his 14th year.
